I just wonder if it still makes sense to write content yourself or hire people to do it when you can get very high quality content with chatgpt4 and do some self edits on the post
what do you think does this make a difference in ranking if you have lets say a written 3000 Words Articel about Dogs from Chatgpt4 and from a writer

Depends on your niche, tell ChatGPT to write you a 500 word article on some obscure peptide and you'll see it falls short. My point is, for some niches it's great, for others, not so much.
So would you say that if I want to create an article about a specific car part, for example, it's worth writing it myself than using chatgpt for it?
but when i want to write an articel lets say about cars in general i cold just use chatgpt for this one ?
hope this is what you mean

Just tell AI to rewrite text if it is not able to write a new one itself.

Also, AI writes better than those "native" writers. And it is free.

Free beats "experienced, native" writers any day

AI writes better than any writer I use. However, I sadly am currently paying my writers to rewrite the AI articles just so it's not AI. My writer makes it worse lol. Costing me thousands of dollars but until we have a correct answer on how to proceed I don't want any AI content on my websites.

Maybe, your writers are not good enough and they don't know exactly how to structure content that will help your website rank higher.

For some niches, you can never rank with chatgpt content. Like if you are making a post about recent vacancy in a job, it has to have latest information. This is something chatgpt is not able to provide.

It's not about number of words, it's about value. How much your article has value. It can be AI content with editing, it can be Human written Article. It doesn't matter, it comes to value at the end.

I have a good video example about value:

For quick content yes make sens but I prefer to write my own scripts, content if I need any idea I can consult chatgpt but I do not like to get to depend too much of someting that at some point won't give me what I want, or get really lazy and when I need to think I can't because I"m so used to ask chatgpt what should I do.

ChatGPT is not perfect. I am using is the past month and often find it lacking in some areas. so yes self written content make sense to me.

Hand-written content is more creative, original, and emotional than AI content. Human writers can use their imagination, experience, and empathy to craft engaging and persuasive content that connects with the readers. AI content may lack these qualities, as it relies on existing data and algorithms to generate text.

If it is a short term project you can use the AI articles and for a long term projects I usually recommend high quality handwritten articles.

Should depend on the niche and how many words you’d want to create/generate, I have had experiences prompting chatgpt to write 1k or 1.5k words which all it was able to do is between 500 to 700… not good enough
