Does Reddit detect when a comment is pasted with Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V instead of typed manually?

Also, can a fresh anti-detect browser profile with almost no cookies look suspicious to Reddit, or does it mostly depend on IP, fingerprint, account age, timing, and repeated/similar text?

Just trying to understand what usually triggers Reddit restrictions: pasted text, clean cookies, IP changes, device fingerprint, or behavior patterns.

Reddit detects everything. It's basically impossible to hide from Reddit

But much of it doesn't even matter.

They've really keyed in on 'natural behaviors' and 'natural responses' (to indicate real posts/comments)

If your account isn't getting the two............ roasted

I get so many random text posts and crosspots on my subs now that are so obviously spam , it frustrates me.
 
In my opinion, when I posted a comment on reddit by copy pasting, it was not detected immediately. Bit when I repeatedly posted copied text from the same account, reddit started detecting it and eventually banned the account. So it seems better to simply type your comment instead.
 
For me, IP changes is the biggest trigger. I haven't noticed copy/paste being an issue by itself. I think Reddit cares more about IP, account behavior and activity patterns than whether you typed or pasted a comment.
 
i don't think copying and pasting is the issue. Reddit seems to care more about how the account behaves overall. If everything else looks normal, a pasted comment by itself has never seemed like a problem.
 
I doubt it's the copy-paste itself, repeated patterns and spammy behavior are probably much bigger red flags.
 
Reddit primarily evaluates behavior, not whether you pasted text. Consistent, natural activity is more important
 
Reddit does not react to just one thing alone it is a mix of behavior signals like posting patterns and how naturally you are doing the activities.
Normal activities can also look suspicious if they are done too fast in the same pattern.
 
Restrictions usually come from overall behavior, account history, spam patterns, or subreddit rules. not wether text was typed or pasted.

Reddit detects all of the things that you've mentioned. But in my opinion Reddit cares most about IP changes.
 
Clean cookies or copy pasting probably aren't the main problem. Suspicious patterns and behavior are what I'd be more concerned about.

Yes reddit detect copy paste , small word and other you short word you copy paste and remaining written nothing will happened, if you copy paste detect bot activities instant shadow ban after 1-2 hours if not then within 24 100% , if account is too and contribution much higher then consider it for 1-2 times but if continuously then it will shadow banned. Cookies detect, ip also , device fingerprint Lso behaviour also , shadow ban does not happen over 1 signal , it's combination of signal matched then , some fake positive signal for ban but it reduces too much with AI + Automation Rules in June - july months...

if you repeadtly just copy and paste the same comment over and over, its going to look like spam.
