I started publishing my blog in both English and Korean. At first I thought it would simply mean translating the same post, but it has turned into a lot more work than I expected.
Each version needs different titles, wording, and sometimes different examples. Whenever I update a post, I also have to check both versions again.
Has anyone here been doing this long enough to tell whether it was worth it? Did the second language bring meaningful traffic, or did it mostly double the workload?
I’ve recently come across blogs publishing in 12 languages, and some in more than 30. That seems like a huge amount of work, so I keep wondering if all those extra languages really bring enough traffic to justify it.
Has anyone here tried expanding a blog to that many languages? Did it make a noticeable difference?
I’m also curious whether you translate every post or only the ones that already get traffic.
I’m sticking with English and Korean for now, but I’m still trying to figure out the most sustainable way to manage it.
