Does Profiles and Web2s still work?

check more number 1 ranked across multiple keywords. you won't find many that have profile, web 2.0 and forum backlinks !

While creating profile links, create a Genuine profile. Use a genuine person's name with a proper image instead of building profile links on a company profile. Web 2.0 is working, but tier 1 link building requires indexing them + Unique content for each web 2.0.

Yes, they do if you post the right content on them.

The key is to post original content for low difficulty keywords that are related to the keywords that you are targeting on your site.

These are easier to rank.

Google is pretty much happy that people would come up with accurate and authoritative content that address the search intent behind these keywords.

If you put up enough for these web 2.0s packed with these type of content and link them to your site, you can rank.

Back in the day, it was better to use medium.com to get a nice boost, but not anymore.

So I would suggest that you target low difficulty and low competition keywords and build a network of such content from many high DA web 2.0s and link to your main site.

Now, if you're just going to be filling out profile forms and then stuffing web 2.0 pages with garbage content, I suggest that you don't do it because that way of building quick links no longer works.

It may have worked 10 years ago, but not anymore.
