Does PPC on X (Twitter) Suck… Or Am I Just Doing It Wrong?

Hey BHW,

I’ve been running some PPC campaigns on X (formerly Twitter), and honestly, it’s been rough. Clicks are pricey, engagement feels dead, and conversions are practically non-existent.

Is anyone actually making X ads work in 2025, or is it just a black hole for ad budgets? I’m debating if I’m missing some key approach or if it’s simply not worth the spend anymore.

Would love to hear real experiences — good or bad.

Yeah, convert is really shitty on twitter ads right now, try to make your ad better, like more clickable images and text.
 
X ads feel like a money pit lately high CPC, low ROI. Unless you're running a super niche offer with viral potential, it’s tough to make them work in 2025. Curious if anyone cracked the code.
 
I'm in a niche banned on all PPC platforms except X and we had no luck on the platform. It seems their ads algorithm is years behind Facebook.
 
Twitter ads have never converted for me.

Its a shit traffic source.
