I recently started being more active on quora and noticed that some answers get views almost immediately while others barely move. I am wondering if posting time actually affects reach and engagement there.

Yes the posting time matters on quora depending on when your audience is active. However, it matters less than other social media platforms because you also need high quality posts in order to make it good for other people to read.
