I keep hearing conflicting advice about posting times. Do time slots still make a real difference, or is it all about consistency now?

Consistency is key now. While timing can still help, posting regularly is what really makes a difference for growth. Stick to a schedule and engage consistently that’s what the algorithms reward.

For your followers yes. But you can post on anytime and it can go viral.

Timing helps a bit, but consistency and content quality matter far more. Test a few slots, find when your audience actually engages most.

Posting at specific times does help. Just so you have an idea, when you post, Instagram will show a group of users you video, and based off of that engagement, they push your video to the explore page. That being said, you want the most amount of "Active" users to see your post as soon as you post it. That is why posting at a specific time is important.

Posting time still helps a bit — hitting your audience when they’re active gives an early boost.
But the algorithm now leans heavier on content quality and consistency.
So yeah, timing matters, but showing up often with good stuff matters way more.

It does, especially when you're targeting a specific location. Some apps, like Instagram, actually show you the active hours of your viewers/followers. You should post around that time.

True, consistency is crucial. Algorithms seem to favor those who stay active and engage with their audience regularly, even if the timing isn't perfect.

Timing isn’t as critical anymore focus on posting regularly and interacting with your audience. That consistency drives reach more than exact hours.
