Does Niche Matter?!

I See content creators who make what ever content they want and they are successful on the platform, I want to make a schedule where I would post gaming content on the weekends and post my regular dance/music niche-related content during the week. I'm close to 100,000 Subs and the CPM for Gaming is Better than it is for dance/music. Should I go for it or should I just start an entire new channel?

No, do it on another channel. It will have a negative impact on your dance channel. Keep posting dance videos on your dance channel and post gaming on your gaming channel.

Yes niche matters. I would make your account be focused on a niche. Make another account for your gaming content another one for your dance/music.
 
I would say keep them separate. I doubt the audience that you'd attract for gaming would be the same audience that would want to see you dance. Content creators who post whatever content they want, have "branded" themselves.

Everyone says do it separately. I know the feeling of wanting to do it all on once channel though, I have the same thoughts and look for a reason to do it all the time.

But the people with the know-how all seem to say keep it niche specific. I wish the answer was different!

You should start out as a channel with only one niche if you really want to grow. For example, if you have a dance channel for a few years and suddenly become a gaming channel. That won't be good because first, the subscribers might not like gaming and will unsubscribe. That will give YouTube a negative signal and it will hurt your channel. Secondly, YouTube is always recommending your videos to those who have watched one or more videos from you before but have not subscribed (those are called semi-subscribers). YouTube are pushing them to subscribe to your channel. So if they watched a dance video from you and then YouTube recommends a gaming video to them, most of them won't click. That will lower your click through rate and YouTube will stop recommeding your content in which stops you from growing. Start with one niche. When you have a good brand, you can expand your niches.

make a new channel for gaming and keep the dance and music channel saperated.

What is gaming cpm
 
It depends on what you want to do and the type of aucience you have. if they just want to see dance videos then no, but if they watch you to see you and they enjoy your personality then by all means do it. as long as your subs are engaged and your making good content!
