Does Negative SEO exist in 2016?

Been reading that DDOS attacks are becoming more common this year - especially in competitive, profitable niches. $50 to wipe out a site for 24 hours.
Love gaming Google but negative SEO nah one step to far for me.

I have been applying a twist to this with great success in the past period.
Sites which I've neglected but have good backlinks which are fairly okish and then spam with contextual direct links in great sums which are relevant
simply works but what is to say about the future? dont care as ill flip them before it comes to that

All ways that will work, however I think internal methods are most effective. Keyword spamming / mass dfollow links and other external methods can be detected by Google.

I doubted that . Only Underground forums you may find these kind of services . Unfortunately , you can also learn that yourself , it cost you just under 100 bucks to take down an average affiliate the whole month . Just with very basic knowledge , you can take down most of site without premium firewalls and proper configurations , guaranteed .

How do I know ? Competitor of Teespring used to contact me to ask for a ddos attack regarding testing their security system . I failed lol . Anyway if your competitor is making good amount of money , they will just upgrade their site under a proxy server or premium ddos protected hosting ... That's when real "ddos" stuff come to play .

I did get DDoS a few times before but i switched to a better VPS right after that

Yes it does exist and it works until now. I've seen a live example on one of my clients moneysite. It likely happens when you're into high competitive niches.

This sounds a bit harsh ))) , I would say a heavy scrapebox blast on a bunch of heavy spammed autoapprove blogs should do the trick, maybe repeating it a couple times
