Having money can cause less stress in your life so that there can bring happiness. There is a lot of things you can't buy though with money. Like having good mental health for example. You can deal with mental illness and no pill or therapy can help you. I've been dealing with it for years and I have my good days and bad days. Money will never fix this problem. Same with the cancer that killed someone in my family all the money spent to save her life did nothing she's dead. Money can buy a nice car, the best clothes, the best electronics but in the end it won't solve everything to bring you happiness. You could make tons of money on the net but have social anxiety and be lonely all the time. You've tried every pill and therapist for help and nothing works money won't solve this problem.

Yes, money gives happiness. It gives more satisfaction when you know how to balance time and money.
The time in getting and spending the money varies on how you get happiness from it.
 
I'm not even gonna lie...having money gives you comfort. When you get to the "made it" mindset your whole outlook on life changes as the things you used to worry about are a distant memory. Love and good people around me brings happiness, people that want to better their lives and make it themselves...ok I'm going off topic here.
 
The prerequisite to happiness is self-growth, imo. Money to a certain extent buys freedom, which in turn improves happiness, but it only builds up on one's character. To conclude, money doesn't buy happiness but it can be a positive factor.

I think the whole "its about the journey/process and not the destination" thing is garbage. Its cute garbage, but garbage nontheless. I think it stems from the fact that its a safe thing to tell yourself and others when you fail - but i enjoyed the process.

I get what you're saying, but I disagree for one main reason:

The person who starts from nothing and becomes wealthy through years of suffering through that torture you mentioned will enjoy their money WAY more than someone who inherits wealth or wins the lottery or some nonsense. Even if the integers of their net worth are equivalent.

So you're right in the sense that the journey is often painfully arduous and not always enjoyable in itself, but without that journey, the reward wouldn't feel nearly as good as it does.

I prefer having it and enjoying it, minus the struggle. Not sure if possible, but that's best.

It's too late for me to have that. But that's best.

Money will not give us the mindset that allows us to enjoy what it can provide.

If we have the mindset, it can! If not, it can't!
 
Who say that money dont buy happiness is lying,when you have money you dont worry about nothing and you can easily enjoy in your life.

I would choose to be happy in a corolla over crying every day in my AMG.

Money can help make our lives easier and more enjoyable, but it is not the ultimate answer to happiness.
 
You have to fix yourself to really earn any serious money so by the time you elevate yourself to serious earnings you should have eliminated many of your own issues, thus the internal reflects the external.

Money is a tool, doesn't do anything without you making it do something let alone make you happy. I know rich people who drive shit cars, live in tiny houses and live miserable existences.

The question is flawed entirely though because happiness is largely irrelevant I value different things. Like, what is your responsibilty as a person, what are your ambitions? What are your goals? To be happy? You can't base your entire existence on how the chemical factory in your head decides to play one day becauses it's a bit dehydrated. Ultimately, forget happiness, do what you need to do. Work hard. Sometimes you'll be happy, sometimes you'll be sad. The message remains - you need to do what you need to do.

Money will allow you more opportunities for healthy dopamine release, which should allow you to be happy more often. If that's what's important to you.
 
Money and Happiness are two very different things.

You can still be sad while being loaded.

You can still be very happy without having much money.

Have you guys had this thing that you always wanted and once you had it the fluff is over? The same will eventually happen with the lambo, mansions, travel, bitches, and more stuff...
