Hi Folks,

After multiple tests and experiment attempts with hired Pros and by myself I decided to give up on google ads as it was just a cash burner for service type business ads - all we had for last 3 months is just scam, spam call, no actual leads; Multiple tickets been raised by google and they even admitted on their replies that we are being charged incorrectly (surprise).

Now I am studying META Ads, but before rolling them and burning cash willing to ask your opinion - what is your general experience? Does it worth it? What strategies you would recommend?

What I am afraid - that META Ads can be oversaturated- there is lots of leads “resellers” and who dealing just with advertising (without providing actual services to end clients).

What your thoughts on this?

Meta Ads can definitely work for service-based businesses, but you need a proper funnel. Unlike ecom, you’re selling trust first. Instead of direct conversion ads, try running to a short VSL page or quiz funnel to qualify leads before handing them off. To avoid spam and low-quality calls, build a pre-screening layer (Typeform, Google Forms etc). And if you’re testing multiple setups or creatives, mobile proxies help run multiple ad accounts cleanly without getting flagged.

If you target the right audience and have a good customer care process, Meta Ads can still bring very good profits to the service industry. Unlike Google - where users find you - Meta is to "introduce" you to people who may be interested. The important thing is that the creative (image/video) must really stand out and be insightful, along with a clear sales funnel (form, inbox, call now). Avoid running a "general service" style because it will be easy to get lost in the crowd. Instead, clarify your unique benefits + social proof. Meta is saturated, but there are still opportunities if you do it right.

We have very good reputation as business, so is not a problem. My problem that market is very saturated by resellers of leads

I think meta can get you customers.because in fact FB users are many all over the planet.if your service is good and reasonable in price.then customers will come to you.

When done right, service advertising on the platform is still quite effective – especially if you focus on building trust and optimizing your lead filtering process. Pre-qualification with forms, clear calls to action, and remarketing can help reduce spam engagements significantly. Competition is obviously high, but if you differentiate your message and target the right audience, there’s room for steady returns. Don’t just pour money into ads – invest in content creation and the conversion system that goes with it.

Meta Ads can definitely work, but yeah... it’s like showing up to a crowded buffet and hoping your dish still stands out. Everyone’s tossing ads around like confetti—including the resellers, the dropshippers, and that one guy still pushing fidget spinners. That said, if you're offering a real service (not just vibes and a landing page), you can win just gotta laser-target. Use lead forms, custom audiences, retargeting, and test creatives like a mad scientist with a caffeine addiction. Don’t boost posts and hope for magic. Also, start small.

Yes i have META representatives

Facebook advertising can be a great source of additional income, but it’s not easy. You need to invest time, effort, and create high-quality content to be successful.

Just been playing all day with it- user interface is shocking and buggy, already raised 5 support tickets with meta - cannot utilise business card, even they took my payment :) Welcome to METASHITAVERSE.. they said :)

Totally feel you Google Ads can be brutal for services. Meta can work if targeting and creatives are tight. Worth testing with small budgets first.

Meta is still very popular, although things have been difficult, it is still effective, and in the end the most important thing is whether your product is suitable or not.

Meta is still very available, in fact, FB platform users are still very large. If your product is suitable, many customers will approach you. The important thing is whether your product is suitable or not.

Yes, META Ads can work well for service-based businesses by targeting specific audiences and generating leads through compelling offers and visuals.

Why is Meta Ads suitable for Service business?
Reason Explanation
Target by needs, location, easy behavior Meta has a large number of users, easy to target by region, age, occupation...
Optimize appointment / inbox / call orders Meta supports "message", "potential customers", "call" campaigns, very suitable for services
Flexible cost, can test from small Run from 50k - 100k / day still get messages if optimized well
Images, videos help build trust Services need trust → Meta is the ideal platform to build personal/business brands

Yes, META Ads can effectively boost service-based businesses by targeting specific audiences with tailored ads. When optimized well, they increase leads and brand visibility quickly.

Totally valid concern. Meta Ads can work great for service-based businesses, but only if your funnel is tight and your targeting is dialed in. Focus on value-first content (like short videos or guides), local targeting, and strong follow-up to filter real leads from junk. What you think?

That is you do not know advertising, but advertising is a very good tool, saving unnecessary costs and optimizing and tracking trootsthif it will be an extremely potential tool, however depending on each person's needs, there will be a different approach to advertising.
