DR/DA works well for quick filtering, but I would not take it as the only basis for my choice. nowaday the importance of other parameter is much higher than that.
Relevance, quality of backlinks and performance on the SERP are more important than any third-party metrics. Many websites that supposedly have good search traffic all have traffic from gamed keywords or garbage and absolutely useless keywords that are completely unrelated.
Agree that da/dr should not be the only metrics.
Me too. I would prefer getting a relevant website with actual traffic and no history over an irrelevant site with a very high DR, The value in links usually,increases when the website is relevant.
using DR/DA as a filter could be helpful, but before doing that, I would check the quality of the webpage and the quality of the backlinking sites. even a poorly performing site on DR/DA could transmit much more value, if it is niche-specific.
Even if a website doesn’t have a high DA or DR, getting a backlink from it can still be valuable if the website is relevant to your industry.
Exactly. I’d use DR/DA as a quick filter, not the deciding factor, A relevant site with real topical traffic and a natural audience is usually more valuable than a high,DR site that has zero connection to the niche.
from my point of view, DR/DA is still a gud way to perform a quick preliminary filtering, but before that, I would think about relevance, organic traffic nd referring domain quality.
