Does it matter how many comments you have on your blog?

My problem is I’ll post my blog post on Reddit and I’ll get 30 comments on Reddit but none of them leave any comments on the blog post. I have begun to transfer those comments over to the website manually.

Yes, it is the part of blog interaction, good for u. But install the anti spammed plugin is better to avoid spam comments. No need to answer all. Answer questions that relevant to your content topics.

It depends on the kind of comments you get

If they are keyword rich AND niche-relevant AND actually add value to the lives of your readers, you can count on these to help you

But if they are auto-generated garbage, they won't help you much

How many comments in your blog it doesn't matter but a comment has interacted with your website and people. If the people are satisfied with your answer they were returned to your blog website.

If it's a blog, it's good to have comments as it keeps engagement going on. You can set up the approval process at the backend with you to keep the good comments and remove spams if any.

One more thing: if you have a lot of comments, this might push your readers to leave more comments. This social proof might have some benefits if people end up posting stuff that's actually useful.
