Recently one of my accounts, that only posts scraped content from IG, got a forced password reset, while all of the other accounts with more unique content, on the same VPN were not affected.
For this reason I wanted to ask if anyone knew if Instagram recognizes scraped content through Instasave (Android)? Should I change a few pixels for the picture for it to not to be recognized? Or it does not matter?

Short answer, yes.

Instagram can check the MD5 of a photo and any other metadata in the picture. You should use a photo purifier that cleans most of that stuff. After that, make sure to change the image name, and later make minor corrections such as size and/or color to change the MD5 (unique identifier).

Some don't do the above and never get caught. Others get banned within days. I work hard on the accounts I manage, and sure don't want them going to heck after a few months so that I need to start over on a new account. But, that's just me.

But what happens if i got a page just for shoutouts.. So i post only Scraped pics and mention them in the discription.

No problems if the photos are provided by the accounts asking for the shout. Otherwise, my previous response applies.

a lot of people complained about the password reset... it's something that triggers instagram to do that. i personally have a lot of posts with instasaver posts and didn't had any trouble.
