a link is totally useless if the page is not cralwed/indexed,

you don't want to rush into indexing them,
indexing services usually use different kind of spam to force index stuff,

you don't want that for geniune links,
give them at least 6-8 weeks, then use some indexing services for the ones that didn't get indexed

However, there's not much to do if your gaining citations from popular places. It will index without additional help.
