usually, general micro niche site has a large content on the home page and much small content on its regular page,
what is the benefit of this?

The benefit is the fact that the home page will rank for most keywords.

when you make large pages it also decreases site speed because of its high data size.so keep this in mind. make pages big but optimize for speed

It depends on your goals. Some products convert best if you have all the info scrolling down on the 1st page. Some even have infinite scrolling for content. Most successful portals have huge front pages, so it must ring a bell with google.

hmm, I guess it a good idea to put the relevant content first- whether it is large or not- It must fulfill its purpose.

I’ve seen huge homepages - think hard sell with the red title text.

I’ve also seen short homepages that focus on design - think Saas websites.

As with almost every other question you can ask, it depends. The best bet is to test it yourself and look at what’s working in your niche.

I agree. We don't need a single landing page. I sell services and my customers land directly into the service but this strategy is not for every situation. Sometimes you want to detour your users across many pages, sometimes you don't.

I don't know how an infinite scroll is good for SEO. Maybe it's good for usability.

SEO is now about human signals. If you stay 30 minutes on a page, Google is watching everything you do. They take note of a interesting page.

Agreed! Google treats every niche differently. You've to test what works best for you. Try split testing with design, content, design structure, content structure, graphics, CTAs, buttons, colors and everything you can think about.

SEO is now very dependent on human signals because they have enough data by google analytics and other products. They know everything about every website.

it all depends on the niche .

if it a doggy subject ,making sales from the inner pages works better.

google see first page as full afflicate site will eventually ban your arse .

a website can be as massive as a building skyscraper as long as it optimized and fast loading. and well seo .

most long fist page websites use the page for huge keyword exposure of sub keywords .

gd luck.

content will always be king, so the amount wont hurt in genraul.

but always go buy your compitition if it a seo challenge.

If a visitor takes time to read the content on the home page, the bounce rate is lower.

that is true - having an interesting unique page - Simple make the visitor to stay long on the page.

Maybe they want to rank their homepage instead of their regular pages. But one should optimize such long homepages for speed because they generally take a bit of time to load.

Generally micro niches sites dont have a lot of pages or posts. When you have a large content in home page, you have extra advantage of ranking your site. That doesnt have nothing to do with micro niche sites.
