Hey ,

Does GSA still working in 2016 ? and its ranking or it's going down

I have been using gsa for 3 months now. I have had mixed results. It really depends on your setup. You have to experiment with the settings such as anchor text, engines etc. On my first attempt I managed to get 1 of my keywords to no6 on the first page then the website got booted out. Experimentation is the key.

GSA is still great tool, but since it become harder to rank you need to:
- Use OCR,
- Use your own lists made by your own footprints,
- Set right % of anchors,
- If you know how to do then your own engines would be great solution since GSA has poor success rate on some engines.

GSA wasn't good even in 2015. I've been using it for years, but last year it become absolutely useless. I consider myself an expert with this tool and I know how and what should be done. I own 3 licenses, but it's just not worth the expenses at all.

Have you tried using 301 redirects?

Lately i've had good results using url shorters to get decent results.

something like this ms<bit.ly<t1(articles)<t2(spam)

For the t1 I never use an exact match anchor, just generic or the service, for example i'll have the anchor "lawyer".

Good thing is, one sit got hit, I just deleted the 301's and my rankings came back.

I tried them, but can't say I saw some amazing results. Definitely not for harder keywords. It may be just me, but I found it not worth the resources anymore. List + proxies + vps, etc. It gets too expensive, when I can just outsource the blast for a few bucks.

Ouh it works well in 2016, like a lot of people will say you just need to know how to use it :D, I ranked a site in two weeks for a "game" hack niche low competition, so yea it works :D

If you have the patience and resources to test it out then ofc it works.

How long did it stay there in the sweet spot ?

Still there, it even began to rank for a "game" keyword like brand name XD, now it's on 3rd page for that brand name

Yes, GSA is still working, depending on your methods or set up.
Just make sure to set it up properly, and you're good to go.
Do trial and error to get the best result.

GSA is just a tool,a very good one but still.I hope Sven will add javascript to gsa it would really help a lot.He is working on a macro recorder and some better engine editor hope this will work out cuz its really needed.

Is it more effective than a PBN link? No. But I use it to boost my web 2.0s properties with contextual articles, then blast more contextual articles to those articles. No other program can build out hundreds of links as effectively, atleast in my opinion.

No chinese/russian/korean domains, domain needs to have new pages indexed by Google weekly, and I'm also filtering them by DA now to see if that helps.

Yes, Google has lessened the effect of these types of links. Just means you need to tweak your method. I leave GSA running 24/7 while building out my PBN network. I'm in control of the domains GSA is submitting too as well as the indexing rate. I've used GSA blast providers in the past, but I'd rather have full control of my projects.

The cost of running GSA can be made back in a day or two. So why not use it? I just set up the campaign once and it build links indefinitely.
