Hi everyone, I had question I was hoping someone could answer for me. Can you please tell me what google does if they find out you are using a cloaker to run a google ad? I'm considering using a cloaker to run an ad that recently got shut down, but my concern is what google will do to my site if they find out? Some of the penalties I worry about are will they flag or de-rank my site, shut down access to my site altogether, or not allow me to ever run an ad again even if I remove the unapproved nutraceutical they have an issue with.

Also, I was curious about something else as well. Instead of using a cloaker, would it just be easier to remove the name of my unapproved nutraceutical from the landing page? It's actually only on there three times and I can take it out completely if that's the issue.

Thank you in advance and I appreciate the help.

Remove your cloaker script or the plugin then run it again for warm ups. It will work again.

When cloaking in Google Ads, do not use any website (domain) of your's which is (are) in organic search of Google. Let both the white page and money page be of websites (domains) on which you do not depend on for organic search.

You domain might start showing warning of deceptive website ahead.

What are ads that disguise real content?
Some unscrupulous advertisements initially provide the ad server with innocuous, false advertising material and landing pages. Upon delivery, the appearance and behavior of these ads change to show sensationalized "celebrity impersonation" or "fake news" content, and the landing page they arrive at after being clicked on often entices users to make fraudulent transactions. These malicious ads are called ads disguised as real content.

If you find such ads in your own advertising sources, it means that your content is displaying ads that are different from those known to our system. In this case, you will not be able to look for obvious signals (e.g., URLs of landing pages disguised as real content) within the Ads Viewing Center, nor will you be able to block the corresponding ads by using the URL of the disguised real content in the rules of the protection measures. Please follow the steps below to report ads disguised as real content so that we can quickly identify the source of the malicious activity.

Note from Google

There are legit cases for cloaking. Compliance (not show X on country Y for whatever reasons), fraud detection and so on.

So not all cloaking is automatically penalized.

Be creative with whatever that means
