if the search engine knows about that traffic and it seems natural , why should it not help? Think about it: say you're Google and someone asks you for an umbrella shop in Barcelona. You know two: one that nobody had ever looked at, and one that has many visitors every day. Which one would you recommend?

If the traffic is real, in my experience, it triggers Google to crawl my pages more often, thus indexing faster.

Exactly on point, other than creating backlinks, traffic surely helps you index your page faster, howevere there is no written rule about it, but surely works.

It depends on the source of your traffic, if it is organic or direct then there is no connection with your indexation but if its coming through the source of your traffic and the source is good then it will crawl faster.

Having good organic traffic works for sure...it improves your site metrics. Higher the quality of the content will prove useful in improving the traffic.

It will boost your site's position. You should use different useragents and reverse proxies.
