Does Facebook analyse data from private messages?

I'm confused. Maybe Facebook analyzing my private messages and showing related ads.

I've noticed this while training my personal facebook bot.
i sent multiple messages a while back ( without any link ), the "conversation" was about video games. The cookies i used doesn't contain any video games related stuff ( no tech website either )
Yet still, i was targeted with a Playstation network ads.

happened to me a few times where i just send a name on fb and next thing i see the ads about that on facebook
 
No only analyze. They sell these data to third parties. Hopefully in agrregated form, but it wouldn't be a surprise for me if some "trusted partners" get your messages as is :)
 
They're very honest people who care deeply about your privacy.

google and fb all read incomming messages aswell .

anythink suspesios apairs get looked manually into.

many been busted with messenger and skype FACT
 
Yes, its been confirmed by Zuckerberg. All messages & images are scanned, ostensibly for preventing "spam and abuse", but probably for ads as well. Links sent are also scanned as well.
 
officially no, but from personal experience as well of friends, yea it does...
 
They probably even analyze messages you typed but didn't send.

Can we believe him, no. Just google "zuckerberg facebook reads private messages".....he admitted it himself few months ago.

I have been using FB on and off since 2006 for personal use (not business), and before that Orkut and Myspace. FB was somewhat okay till around 2010, but now its becoming very bad.

They definitely sell to advertisers also. Even more serious, is their close collaboration with Governments around the world, especially in repressive countries and dictatorships. FB is definitely helping to reduce freedom of speech and turn the world into a police state.

Thanks for the clarification, for a moment I was concerned you trusted Zuckerberg!

Zuckerberg and most FB employees are leftists/communists. They seem to be converting FB into an online version of a police state like China. I think in future FB may even ban VPNs and TOR and a Goverment ID will be compulsory to maintain an account there.
