If you have a bunch of money in that CJ account I wouldn't mess with blanking the referrer. CJ has zero tolerance and will go to bat for their merchants. Personally I have tried to blank referrers and even done domain redirects - both didn't fly.
If you want to chance it you better have a damn good alibi because they WILL come asking where your traffic is coming from and for you to provide actual proof. And even if you are able to provide some proof it is still up to their discretion whether or not to can you and keep you commissions.
Its okie if you stay under the radar. Once you begin generating higher and higher commissions they will come asking you where the traffic are coming from. Setup multiple cj accts and mix some cheap traffic along and you should be fine.
I'm not planning on blanking the referrer. I am going to fake the referrer, still a real user just being redirected with the double refresh method. The double refresh method doesn't "blank" the referrer, just fakes the referrer, is this right? Just want to make sure. Because I am going to double refresh so they go to another one of my websites, then to the real CPA website. That's cool right? And is there a difference between faking the referrer and blanking the referrer? Or are the two words used interchangeably?
