Hi, I'm thinking about buying bulk of domain with well known words on it name.
I may use this strategy in Adlt content/affiliates website.
So does people still type domain name on address bar and visit it?
or they will just google it name if they remember it later.

People still type domain names into the address bar, but many also use search engines, especially for well-known words

If your website's name has popular words, more people might type it directly into the address bar. But, think about how your audience usually searches online. Just counting on people typing your address might not be enough. Make sure your website is easy to find on search engines by using good SEO practices

If your domain is easy to remember and well-promoted, people might type it directly. But some prefer to use Google for everything. It depends on how catchy your domain is.

Alright thank you all guys for helpful replies, I think I kinda found brief idea about it.
In fact what I'm think to do is use some celebrities and well known brand names on a new TLDs e.g .mil .icu ,
That why I ask if ppl, will still remember typing the domains with TLD into the address bar.
since I won't guarantee that domain to even rank for it name

If you are doing adult content / affiliate site, probably it's not important.
People are typing adresses, coming back to websites if they are getting big value.
Website created for affiliate purpose is not giving big value where your goal is to move out traffic to affiliate partner.
What adult websites with affiliate you know? The biggest websites are not moving traffic away, they keep it, they give value to the traffic and monetize with for example premium.

Hello

Yes, domain name branding is still effective, especially for mobile users. Memorable domains can lead to direct type-ins. Additionally, users may Google remembered names, making a distinctive domain beneficial for recall and branding in the adult content/affiliate niche.
