Does content locking still actually work??

From my point of view what i can suggest you is talk with your AM of your CPA network. And discuss that you are going to use Content locking for your site and you need to be provided great converting offers for such method or content. HE'll provide with you it and in some cases they do help you in improvising your conversions :) :)

Bounce rate is one of the search engine cruxes for determining whether a site is worthy of moving up/staying up in the organic rankings. Bounce rate on locked sites can skyrocket as people choose not to complete the offers and leave the site, or are redirected to other sites that the locked content is actually hosted on.

There is a plethora of other opportunities to drive traffic other than SEO, but if you want to focus on SEO, you should make sure there is additional valuable unlocked content present on the site that warms them up and eventually leads them to the gateway. The accompanying unlocked content reduces bounce rate, and (if properly written/organized) can increase conversions.

An easy solution to decrease your bounce rate dramatically is when they click your video (or whatever) and a new page loads and on that the first part of the video starts running automatically or the locker comes up instantly.
 
Amrak how is your campaign coming along?

Everyone else: If you are doing zip/email submits, even to incent offers, how do you make sure that traffic will convert enough for the advertiser?

If you drive traffic with SEO and then put a content locker on that page, your bounce rate will go up and you will drop ranking. This has happened to be many times and I have verified that it is the reason for ranking drops.
 
True, you don't want to do the whole blanking/faking referrer thing; it was a good idea, but networks are onto it and it's a quick way to get the axe. Besides, there are plenty of incent-friendly networks that you can run your locker with.

I don't completely agree with this.Content Lock Pro is Good but still a single software is not going to make you bank.You still need to think about the traffic,etc.
