I’ve seen some sites ranking with minimal backlinks but very detailed content. Do you think depth alone can compete with strong link profiles now?

I think depth helps a lot, especially for low competition topics.Some pages rank with good detailed content, but for competitive keywords backlinks still matter.so content can work alone sometimes, but not always enough.

Imo, Depth helps a lot, but it won’t fully replace backlinks.
You can rank with strong content in low competition, but in tougher niches, links still decide who wins.

Google is definitely getting smarter at rewarding topical authority, so high-quality content can absolutely outrank sites with just spammy backlinks. You don't need a massive link profile if your depth actually answers user intent better than anyone else out there

If the content is genuinely better, more complete or fleshed out, clearer, and actually satisfies the search intent then naturally it can rank with fewer backlinks, especially in less competitive niches. Depth matters more now but it doesn't necessarily replace link building.

I think detailed contwent can rank with fewer backlinks, especially for low competition keywords. But in competitive niches, strong backlinks still make a big difference.
