Ok so there are tons of people selling backlinks, fair enough to an extent these backlinks do help and can give new sites a good boost.
But based on what i've experienced you reach this tip of the iceberg, and buying the same packages again won't really help you much. It seems like you come to the point where you would need completely different backlinks and other factors to help you further.
Back when i started my site around 2-3 years ago i was able to reach around 100k+ monthly users from google search, and this was obtained fairly easily and was able to rank high for a keyword that was ranked very difficult. And a huge thanks to that was the backlinks i bought from different sources.
But ever since then i have been in the same traffic bracket of 130k ish monthly users from google. I even spend much more money on backlinks now than i did before, but the improvement my site sees is very little. (Ranking in top 5 and higher already for most keywords worth any traffic)
Which makes me conclude that buying the same backlinks being sold on different sites does come to a point where they aren't really that helpful anymore.
Sure the more backlinks your site has the less effective more backlinks would be.
Getting 200 backlinks for a site that had 0 backlinks would usually be a huge boost.
While getting 200 backlinks for a site that has 4000 backlinks might be a very little boost.
So backlinks and ranking gets more and more difficult the further up you climb, and you reach a point where the investment needs to be increased substantially for it to make much difference.
Anyone else experience the same?
