Does anyone use .blog domain extension?

Extension does not matter much. .com is little good, rest all are like same. It does not have any effect on SEO also.

It's about context, keywords, getting traffic.....route this traffic to your site ..(something like this) it's a leverage to become multi seo visibility, ......

By the way, does ist make sense use a new way/ twist to build your multiple topic site like a network with these new TLD's to be different than your competitors, my Idea is this;
You are a marketer and domain is jsmith.com, your topical categories are structured in a new way like this;
Marketing: jsmith.marketing
SEO: jsmith.seo
Entrepreneur topics: jsmith.business
All these sites well intern linking together in the main menu and footer.
A new structured way beyond categories and subdomains.
Till today I not saw this on big big sites......
I don't know if that makes sense or is it one of my moments I have crazy ideas but useless, better push it to the trash folder who knows?

But when I look deeper you know I'm fascinating by thes ebig media sites who ruling google seo.....I not see that one of them; bloomberg, cnn, wjs, nyt, hearst etc,etc....that thes ebig companies using one if these new TLD domains, nope. They using com, net, org domains.
Why? Do they not trust these new TLD's...or any other reasons?

No and no if you have a .blog domain it does not mean that you will be ranked better directly

When I type in google; site: digital marketing
then new TLD .marketing domains are at th etop spots above .com domains

google stated that all domain extensions are treated equally in terms of SEO so there is no inherent advantage or disadvantage to using a .blog domain over a more traditional extension like .com.
while the .blog domain extension does not directly impact SEO it can enhance branding and user perception which can indirectly benefit your site's SEO if leveraged correctly.

SEO wise i doubt it but it is a domain extension with a very low resale value/aftermaket share

.blog seems very shitty tld, be careful if you have greater plans to this project

.blog is use for blogging purpose you can use it for blogging it is well.

There are many websites using the .blog domain extension. Using a .blog domain itself will not directly affect your search engine rankings, as Google and other search engines treat the domain extension as a neutral factor.

It will not affect directly the seo ranking but some of these new tld domains can give you a higher serp click rate isn't it?
Look at this; example entrepreneur coach sites the serp are full with .com domain, but you have a .blog or a .coach/.coaching domain extension, it's logic that you will stand out of all the .com domains and you will get a higher serp ctr?
But do a whole overview I can't say that a .blog or any other new tld domains is better, when you will get B2B clients for your services.
In the other side, I see that all these big sites and media sites who dominating google, always using a com domain or a .net domain. Yep, they have bought multiple domains and domain name variations with com, ,blog or news domain extensions, but they using them to make a 301 redirect to their com domain.
So when you type in google bloomberg news, it redirects to their bloomberg.com site not to a bloomberg.news site.
