Does anyone have experience with arc.dev or turing.com or toptal.com?

I am considering to work remotely as a developer. Skill-wise, I am intermediate developer.
Currently, I am in the progress of refreshing my skills and trying to build some portfolio-worth projects.

So, I found these sites:

• arc.dev
• turing.com
• toptal.com

Does anyone have experience using those sites to get hired as remote developer?
Are they good? Are they bad?

There are mix reviews on the net. Some of them saying really bad things. Handful of them saying they are good.

Should I avoid them at all cost? At this point, I am considering to register myself on arc.dev and turing.com.
