i am trying to automate some posting and ran across this inserting item. However, the money site for this product seems a little cheesy and Spammy so I decided to check with you guys if this is legit? Is there another solution, any other product similar to this one?

Onlywire and Hootsuite are good choices for content syndication to social media sites. I've never heard of the product you are mentioning. Onlywire and Hootsuite have been around for years and are constantly supported and updated, you cannot go wrong with either.
 
The problem that I have seen with those kinds of "services" is that there is no option to have it post randomly to the sites in the system... it is all that you choose or none.

That may be OK for traffic but I see that as an SEO footprint that is not a positive for a site over the long haul.

Maybe they have changed some but I've looked at them in the past and never saw the opportunity for randomness in the postings.

I really can't; I would not do that myself but I'm not a guy that drives traffic that way and I don't have nearly the knowledge to offer an legitimate counsel. Someone else, well zillions of others, know more than I do about that.

To me, a plugin that randomized the posting to your social networks makes more sense.
