I know this might sound strange, but does anyone else feel a mini heart attack whenever they see an email notification from YouTube? I don’t think it’s normal, but every time I wake up and check my phone, I find myself praying, “God, please, no notification from YouTube.”

Anytime during the day, if I see a Gmail notification, my heart skips a beat , immediately worry that my channel might be suspended or terminated.

I was doing really well on YouTube for a long time, but the moment I joined some YouTube groups where people share their problems, everything changed. Reading about their issues made me feel like I would be next. Since then, I’ve been seeing posts about suspensions and terminations everywhere on Quora, Reddit, Facebook, and other platforms. I have left those groups, still my mind didnt change. I used to be so excited uploading each video and seeing the success of that video.

Even though I keep telling myself, “It’s normal, let it go,” I still can’t shake the feeling. I think I’ve grown too attached to my well grown channels, and the thought of losing them honestly feels like it would give me a real heart attack.

You might not be alone. Those who do not have any other income source, will also be worried about this.

actually this Youtube is part time game for me and a hobby too. But still damn worried all the time

Many people have the same fear as you. They are just afraid that one day their account will suddenly be warned about some or all of that content. However, it seems that they are more afraid of BH messages than the other social media channels they are monetizing. Funny, right?

yes exactly

I can relate so well to your fear. The fear of sudden suspension without no adequate reason. Let me say something, i think Youtube cannot suspend any account like that without no warning or the channel have being misusing contents or many copyright issues..

If that is not it, then i guess i don't know Youtube well enough...smile

You’re not alone—and no, it doesn’t sound strange at all.

What you’re describing is a very real form of anxiety, especially common among people whose creative work, income, or sense of identity is tied to platforms they ultimately don’t control—like YouTube.
