Does anybody manual commenting on HIGH PR+ Blogs?

I am definitely doing more of this lately - using Spyglass to check out other sites' backlinks. Not necessarily competitors', any site I see has been SEOd to death :D There are some real low OBL gems around! I think this is an important strategy - it's quality over quantity and can get results better than any automated blasting, and for less effort really... You can also just search Google using SEOQuake for random keywords and see if any high-prs come up. If they are relevant keywords then all the better, but better to try different, less saturated ones.

I wonder what people feel about using anchor links though - I don't always feel comfortable using them, and feel they often wouldn't get approved, but wonder if it's still worth it. Haven't tested, but I keep doing them for now as it seems to get results anyway. But they might be superfluous...

Manually commenting on high quality blogs is very effective for me,
using anchor links maybe it's not nice but if you take time and read post on blog and write high quality comment (not some general bs but something that proves you read it) than most of owners don't have such problem with it.

I have Spyglass and Scrapebox. So,its very easy to find good pr+ page.I just follow my competitor backlink and sometime random website also.It gives me huge result ;)

how can you do this without software or free ones

I do this manual commenting thing and approval rate is high if your input is strong and meaningful.
