I just wondering if Angela Backlinks still works or its a bad idea to get such links.

As long as these are profile backlinks, everyone know the value of these backlinks in the SE. So my advice is to use these links only on lower tiers.

Problem is, they aren't Angela's backlinks any more are they.
She used to put out packages of high PR sites for you to manually create accounts on but now they are all 0 PR scraped crap that people are just calling Angels's Backlinks.

Angela Links is just term for manually created profile links on high PR domains.
If you do that by yourself manually it can work still.
Just find high PR sites like mozilla and try to find some forum, or any kind of membership area where you can create profile with backlink.

The original Angela's backlinks was released by an individual called Angela V Edwards who put out packages of 30 high PR sites per month, started back in the mid to late 2000's.
Code:
http://angelasdiscountmarket.com/backlink_builder1

Everything now is just scraped no PR rubbish claiming to be Angela's Backlinks.
Even the ones that claim to be Angela's Style Backlinks are way off the mark, she used to supply genuine high PR sites.

I like Rooooxxaaaaaaaannnnne links. Cuz that song is playing on the radio now.

If you are talking about the spammy type profile links on sites, then not very well. However, if you spend time on your profile pages, add a bit of content and funnel the profile websites internal link juice to your profile page through commen ts/posts/likes whatever, you will get much better results.

Not everyone has time to do this and there are better ways to build links. Nice for keeping things varied and random though.

Its 2014 and those terms make no sense anymore. These days they are known as profile links or contextual links on web2.0 properties which people are still using to a great deal of success.

Just use them for link diversity along with other link types.

OP: In case you hadn't heard it enough times, crappy profile links on forums just aren't what they used to be.
