I will to know how Alexa does its ranking. Because lots of friends have been complaining about their sites increased in traffic but no reflection on Alexa metrics

alexa is summary of last 3 months visits not one day

As someone said, it takes time to update as its an average of 3 months. Check it at alexarankcheck.com and you will get daily report card. btw, I am not affiliated with this website alexarankcheck.com

You should focus on your traffic, If your website has the good amount of traffic in regular basis then the Alexa metrics will be automatically updated with your favor.

However Moz shows it as;
PA1 DA1
has someone been blocking their domain via robots from moz
