Google is here to protect spam.
Bulk non reviewed, non revised, non fact checked, non engaging only keyword based optimized content are being filtered.
Google wants to deliver safe, unique and authentic information to readers.
It does not matter what tools you use to write content. make sure they are good (especially for readers).
Then focus on the other ranking factors of Google.
Everything works that way.

Not quite.
When you pay close attention to Google's public pronouncements regarding the March update, it's obvious that sloppy usage of AI content was punished.
Basically, the most blatant abuse of AI content is the first target of Google's recent update.
A lot of those websites got crushed.
Now when you look at what Google actually said, they told the world that they know about expired domains and how people would fill revived sites using expired domains with what Google considered low-quality content.
This is where AI-generated content comes in.
So when you put two and two together, it should be clear that the first targets of Google's quality update are expired domains that are AI content-heavy.
Now does this automatically translate to all AI content being banned?
I don't think so because there's a gradation in AI content.
I just described the low end where people just click a button and copy and paste whatever pops up.
Then there's the high end where people use AI to come up with an outline.
Or they use AI to come up with a research parameter and then there's a lot of editorial intervention in the text so that the text can not only pass AI detectors but actually deliver solid value to flesh-and-blood human readers.
I'm not quite convinced yet that Google will throw the baby out with the bath water when it comes to AI content.
But with that said, we do know that expired domains are basically on their way out.
If you're doing the PBN game and you're selling links, consider yourself warned.
On the other hand, it's also worth noting that given the rise of ChatGPT as a consumer information portal, it wouldn't be a shock for consumers at some point in the future to assume and expect that there is only going to be one answer when they do a search.
Right now, you don't get that with Google.
You get many different sources so you get many different alternative spins to the answer that you're looking for.
Many people welcome this diversity.
Other people would rather be told what the answer is.
And let me tell you.
Once the consumer expectation shifts enough toward that direction, all bets are off.
The Internet as we know it, as far as SEO is concerned, will basically be over at that point because Google would have to adopt such a model if it wants to stay in business.
Of course, you have to innovate in terms of how it's gonna make money through ads, but its problems are nowhere going to be near our problems because we are the publishers.
We are the ones who put content out on the Internet, and we're the ones who are going to be left out in the cold because consumers will now need one answer.
So how will Google navigate all of that?

By content I would suppose you mean threads/posts/articles/comments etc written by an AI correct? I have a addon that I am using which leverages chatgpt. What it does is, it uses chatgpt to scan a thread after a new thread is made and automatically insert tags.
Google is cracking down on websites using AI-generated or poor-quality content for ranking purposes. Prioritizing high-quality, relevant content is crucial to avoid penalties and maintain rankings.

Unfortunate that it's banned in Germany, but you might be able to access Claude using a service like Openrouter.

Put in more effort to make it legit and you can rank. If you post crappy unreadable generic content, you cannot expect crap to stick. right?
Are commas, hyphens or semi-colons in places they shouldn't be or are you using those typical Ai words like unveiled, unleashed, realm of, and starting sentences using "With" "While", "Despite that". Patterns are easy to spot.
