Google is now filtering AI generated content

Google has now start taking actions against those who are using AI based and poor content just for the sake of rankings.

What you guys think, does AI content is now banned?

It's not ''banned''. But it's harder to rank the AI generated content at the moment.

there are no banned issue with Ai content . The problem is you cannot rank your website with AI content .It's so difficult cause Google always give top priority human writing content.

Seems like they are not in the mood of let these AI tools work.

They can't accurately identify AI content. You can't ban something you don't have the tech to find. In their attempt to do it, they're screwing over genuine websites.
As per the study of originality.ai a few website is completely deindexed by Google

That is why they have deindexed a few sites that are totally reliable on AI based content

Google cannot accurately judge AI content.

They can't actually judge content at all, as it is just a bot, which is why EEAT was always just bullshit and so mis-understood.

They can however notice patterns, like a site publishing 500 posts a week or use other metrics and signals to 'guess'.

working just fine in my end,
spam & typical ai content with no twists is more likely to be affected,
especially when mixed up with poor UX, low website/page(s) authority & poor on page

It's not AI content per se but the abuse of it.
I have a few AI articles on my site and they still rank (basically, I use AI to test keywords and if it goes well then my writer prepares proper content).
But if I post hundreds of AI articles every day... then there's a problem.

Google has begun filtering AI-generated content to prioritize quality over quantity. While AI content isn't banned, emphasis is now on relevance and value to users to improve search results.:anyway:

They’ve been detecting ai since the last update. Not only do those not stick and rank(if it’s clearly ai), but those pages get deindexed and with enough you get site-wide penalties.

That was the last update. It’ll be interesting to see what they do with this update.
