That is why sites like freshlive is now totally deindexed.

They are just removing/ deindexing the content that is just written to get page/ website ranked anyhow.Google has begun filtering AI-generated content to prioritize quality over quantity. While AI content isn't banned, emphasis is now on relevance and value to users to improve search results.

Google does not have the ability to identify AI content as such, but they likely will be looking to penalize those who are abusing AI content, mass publishing articles for example.
I think AI content can still be used effectively going forward, provided there is human review (and editing where required) and controls with quantity and spacing.
Unfortunately, there seem to already have been and likely still going to be several sites without AI content getting penalized. Will be interesting to see what happens in a few months and we can take away from it.

Sports Illustrated has been using AI generated articles. Many online publications are doing the same.
How does Google they tell the difference? What signals are they detecting?
Google bots and spiders can detect many things on-page, how many articles published in a given timeframe? Is the language similar? Are there patterns that can be detected?
If you use the same AI content generator with the same style of prompts, don't mix it up, don't go over the article with a human review and make some edits, and post the same style of content very rapidly -- these are data signals that can be detected.

Google is an A$$hole. First, they promoted AI content by saying they are high-quality content as long as it satisfies users' queries and when everyone started to follow this practice, they now want all AI content sites to be out of Search Results. Google is one making us dance to their tunes.

A lot of sites with human written content got penalized too, so NO.
The thing is that with AI you have the possibility of mass generating trash and of course they dont want that to happen.

AI content is not banned yet it's difficult to rank in serp. according to me why ai content doesn't work much efficient is due to high usage of machinery and technical words which is difficult for the viewers or visitors understanding,

Google Gemini is built around AI content/queries and they are fine with scraping the content. But someone uses the same data on the website they get a penalty. AI content cannot be banned, but now needs to adapt.
