Hi guys, i get that we have to register a domain in a fake name or use privacy when setting up a PBN, but what about the hosting account?
Do the same rules apply?
What if i use the same paypal or credit card to pay for hosting, will this leave a footprint?
Is it alright to leave hosting in my real name, or should i use a fake name for this too?

Thanks in advance,

Your details will be with the hosting companies so there is no way Google can know unless they secretly ask for it. You should use your real info while setting up hosts because the payment might be marked as fraud by payment processors(Few of them have that setup). You can use fake info on small hosts if they don't have fraud check systems.

So don't worry about that. Just take care of your nameservers and hosting diversity which are enough to hide the footprints.

Agreed Hardcorebiker, use real ID when registering with hosting. You can fake the details after registered, and when asked, which did happened to me, I told the hosting companies that I am a web designer that take care of my clients sites. That's it.
