I do not think video length matters much as whether the creator keeps things interesting. I will happily watch a 30-minute video if every few minutes gives me something staying for.

Yeah you are right if the creator makes the video interesting it will hold the viewer to stay and explore the whole video. I also have personal experience some creators create such an interesting content that there is no matter how much long video is. So the conclusion is that if your video is based on awesome and interesting content then it will automatically hold the viewer.

Yes, when a creator makes a video, he has to include something interesting so viewers watch it. The viewer stays on any interesting subject for a long time.

Good videos still work when they give viewers a reason to watch. That is why they work
retention is the key. If the content is engaging them every couple of minutes they will stay regard less if it is 5 minutes or 45. Bad pacing will kill view tym faster than the length ever could.

I agree viewer retention is more important than simply making videos longer or shorter.
A strong hook, good pacing, and useful information throughout can keep people watching regardless of the video length.

youtube is still working for me but it was not anymore about making videos but rather creating reasons to stay on. and even vry small videos can attract attention if they does some thing specific right.

Yeah, I think good content still works, length is not the main thing.
besides that, I will analyze directories, companies, organizations nd specialty blog that will never be found on any SEO list. competitor backlink audit can provide some interesting backlink.

I agree with you, but it only works if your content is something that, that make watcher to stay on video; otherwise in current world short videos watched more than long videos

From my point of view, both long and short videos can work. For me, the first few minutes are really important. If the video grabs my attention early, I don't really care if it's 5 minutes or 30 minutes long.

Exactly. I think retention matters much more than simply hitting a certain video length. A 10-minute video can feel too long if it’s padded, while a well-paced 30-minute video can keep people watching because every section adds something useful or entertaining.

Video lengths still matter if you have broad topic to understand. With 30-sec or 60-secs, doesn;t fit in explaination videos category.

Video length matters because the newer generations have a short attention spam and you've got to "win" them immediately with a strong hook. If you have educational type videos though, a longer video more than 15-20 mins is fine.
