Let's think of how many subscribers they have. The company says they have a "team, " and given the standard output of one person full time (800 words/hour), 15,000 words represents the effort of two people, but the complexity suggest that they might have three.
These people are likely paid better than standard article writers (because they are located in the US, Canada, and the UK, which it says on their site), and they have specialized experience, so let's say 70,000 per year, per writer.
That means 150,000 in just writing costs per year (and you know there's someone on the top, the actual marketer, who's taking more, but let's conservatively say that he takes $90,000) That makes the total cost of the business more like $240,000.
At $150/mo, that means that each subscriber gets them $1800 per year, so there are at LEAST 133 people who are signed up to that service.
The problem with that is, while 15,000 words will get you a pretty good number of copyscape-unique articles, you're sharing them with everyone else on your list. So say that gives you 500 truly unique articles (that aren't counted as duplicate content in any way), and 130 people sign up to the site, you end up with 3 unique articles. At that point you may as well have just bought an article (about $15 if you want a really high-quality one, and it would be on the topic of your choosing).
Also, if you're unlucky with your spins, it's entirely likely that, even with the ultra-spun articles, you end up with one similar enough to someone else's that it's useless.
Furthermore, this will get you a bunch of articles sitting around and collecting dust, because they are not on the topic of your choosing, and I would guess that most of them are not worth even designing micro-niche sites around.
And even if you do design your site around the article, you have to know that the same idea went to all of the other people who subscribe to the service, and, in blackhat SEO, just like any other industry, it's never wise to assume that you're the best in the business without an exceptional amount of proof.
tl;dr: I don't think it's worth it.
