Do you use Transferwise?

Yes I can send to you from TW just an email will do, provided you are also account holder of TW. TW will send you an email like this, http://prntscr.com/mm3umv, and you just need to confirm it. Another way is to add you as one of my recipients(without TW account), and transfer the money to you either ACH or banking wiring. Within US, there is only USD1 fee for ACH. International wiring I am not sure, never did that.

How do you send money from TW to TW?

I went to the "Send Money" option, and I only have 3 options to send, none of them being directly from my TW account:

Wr3ugUs

Maybe the option only becomes available if I actually have some money in my TW account?

I believe so.

Okay. One last question.

Lets say im selling something and you want to buy it from me. And i can only accept payment with Transferwise.

What information exactly would i need to give you so that you can pay me?

Just the email address? My name, last name? Other info?

I am not sure on the selling part since I only get payment from my friends who also TW acct holders and payment from Amazon and withdrawal from Paypal.

Yes I use them regularly for international payments.
They are excellent.
Low fees , good exchange rate, fast transfers.

Used it a few times. No complains here.

Since I made this thread I started using it, and I received a few payments on it. All smooth so far.

Though not sure yet how I'm going to be withdrawing the money. But so far so good :)

Are you able to transfer to a third party personal bank account from Any country with this?

You mean pay someone from your bank to their TW account, or withdraw money from your TW account to your bank?

Frankly, I'm not 100% sure about either. One customer paid me through it a few times, and I'm not sure if they paid from their TW balance or their bank or how. And I didn't even look into how to withdraw the money, so I can't say for sure, sorry.

Sending money from my own TW to a third party bank account from a different country. Is this possible?

I don't think so.

My understanding of Transferwise is, how they manage to keep low fees is by avoiding the international transfer fees.

In other words, you're in the US and I'm in the UK. If you send me money regularly from your US bank account to my UK bank account, there's fees associated.

But Transferwise has a bank account in the US and the UK. So if you send money from your TW account to my TW account, what you're actually doing is sending money to TW's US bank account, and they're giving me the money from their UK bank account, therefore eliminating the international transfer fee and having low fees.

I think that's how it works. And with that in mind, I don't think you can do what you want :)

Yeah, well, but I'm no expert man. You can contact Transferwise and ask them about your situation, and see what they tell you. That way you get first hand information, straight from the horse's mouth :)

I use them all the time to transfer money from Australia to Europe
They have a better rate than banks

They scammed me 100$, I sent 100$ to them using bank transfer and they never transferred funds to the recipient. when I contacted them they were asking some MT103 Swift document from my bank and my bank branch is far away from where I'm staying rn, I provided many transactions proofs from my net banking account but nothing was accepted, I last I gave up. So be careful
