Do you use Transferwise?

UK member here, I have both a personal account and a business account. It's great, very useful. Payments and transfers are quick and setup was easy.

One account, 40 different countries capabilities consolidated to receive, send or withdraw from ATM with their card. Nuff said.

Wait! Could you explain. Is it possible to get an account with them and a card? Is it like a bankaccount? (In the EU wirh IBAN and SEPA)?

Just register, and the page post-verification will be very responsive and interactive to answer your questions. If you didn't even register an account, why are you posting on a forum about it?

We already have an account. But as a german company we dont have that option with a card! Just wondering. Are you located in the EU?

Asia and I do not have one either, it's only for selected countries and yet to be implemented according to the website. We only get to see the card, but denied sign up. I'm ceasing any information here further, the trend of the threads seems to be inclined to suggest some sort of information farming for undesirable activities and I do not support those movements.

Cheap and fast. It might be the cheapest option to transfer money as of now. Their card (for EEA citizens) and virtual bank accounts are nice too.

Cards for business are pretty new. I have a UK company and signed up to the list for business cards and I've got mine.

I'm hearing only good things about it, and it seems quite popular.

I didn't register yet, I asked first to see if people are using it and what they're saying about it... to see if I should even bother registering or not :)

Transferwise easy and fast very high recomanded

Good, thanks :)

I'm not located in the EU. Frankly, I don't much care about getting their card. I care about being able to receive money on it, and then being allowed to link my Visa card (from my bank) or my bank account to it, and withdraw money.

Although, even if I can't link a local card or a local bank account for withdrawals, the small fees maybe equal things out, so then I can transfer that wiretransfer money to payoneer or skrill or something, maybe bitcoin, and "withdraw" the money that way :)

Actually it's not supported in my country either, but they have something called "Transferwise Borderless," and I think that one can be registered/used worldwide.

The card, getting a card from transferwise is not an issue for me. I don't even want it. I didn't even get the Payoneer card. But being allowed to withdraw to a local debit card or bank account is something I would need, would be nice to be able to do. If that's not possible, then move from Transferwise to payoneer/skrill/crypto and get the money out that way I guess.

Yeah they have a virtual bank account like Payoneer does. I wonder if it would work with gaypal.?

Thanks :)

What do you mean Paypal to TW? You're allowed to send money from Paypal to TW? Or do you mean connect the US bank account TW gives you with your Paypal and then withdraw money to it?

Send existing money from PayPal to TW. If from PayPal to my own bank, the conversion rate exchange is ridiculous. So once the money from PayPal to TW, I will withdraw from TW and recieve in minutes yes minutes not hours or days

I understand, yes.

When you say send existing money from Paypal to TW. How do you do that?

Do you go to Paypal somehow send the money to your Transferwise account?

Or did you connect your Paypal to your Transferwise bank account, and then you basically Withdraw money from Paypal to it?

Under PayPal u can create another bank detail which in this case TW. And then withdraw the money to this TW bank. So yes basically withdraw money from PayPal to TW

And is free from amazon or PayPal to TW. No fee

I'm in US and use it some for international transfers. Best rates and works good. No debit card here either, and I've never tried linking it to PayPal. Not sure how you would anyways as far as USD withdrawals since they require the name to be "TransferWise FBO yournamehere"

They scammed me 100$, I sent 100$ to them using bank transfer and they never transferred funds to the recipient. when I contacted them they were asking some MT103 Swift document from my bank and my bank branch is far away from where I'm staying rn, I provided many transactions proofs from my net banking account but nothing was accepted, I last I gave up. So be careful
