Hi
for your reviews/money pages, do you use "pages" or "post" type?

Is there any advantage in using one or the other?

I have been using "post" for years, but I have been reading now about using "pages" instead. I wonder if it makes any difference for SEO?

It doesn't matter.

It's how you interlink every articles that does matter.

There’s not much difference to either post I’d usually use it for blog pages. But main pages i’ll use page.

yeah, that's what I do as well... the main ones are pages and the rest are posts.

Use pages for main pages and posts for blog posts/portfolio posts or anything else that needs to be grouped into categories.

Can use post as a blog and pages for main page . Then main will be the page other page will be in post

i tested this. Pages rank better than posts in wordpress, because in posts, you get those related blog posts on the side or footer depending on your theme. it seems that posts makes your page to lose some juice. also it messes up the total word count and also keyword density.

Pages are for static content, posts are temporal content that you want to be categorized, tagged, archived. Once you have published a Post, it’s linked within categories, tags, archives, “recent posts”, and other multiple-post page. Conversely, Page is linked manually by yourself.

Thus i suggest to increase exposure of your website is to choose WordPress Post and write them with natural multiplicity. However WordPress pages have their own advantages as well. Neither is inherently more friendly than the other. When properly handled.

I always go with pages because I can design more elements... Posts for some simple blog posts that only need a few images.

Hi guys,
thanks for the replies, but I am asking specifically for REVIEW/affiliate pages.

For instance. You have a blog about headphones.

/best-headphones
/headphone-review
/bla bla

So you use Page or Post for these?

i usually use both, pages for about, ToS, privacy policy etc and posts for articles.
