Of course. It's one of the best keyword research tools and the owner has a blog at nichepursuits.com. The only gripe I have about LTP is the condition for usage. It has to be installed on a PC so you can't do keyword research on your tablet or smartphone when you are out and about.

I'm going to request a web-based version of the tool. I hope I will get a favourable response.

Great idea making it available on tablets. Sit outsite in the sun and hunt for keywords. :)

Owned it and love it. Though I use it with a couple of other keyword tools. It's user friendly that's what I like about LTP.

Just too bad you can't use proxies with it.
Do you get your IP banned often?

And that's why the tool was created - to help you find those long tail keywords whose combined search volume surpasses that of head terms.

It is a good tool and I find the competition check through search results are what keeps me happy about it. It is like have keywordrevealer.com and adword tool in one place. Definite buy.

It's good but you have to know how to use it. Eventually you'll learn what keywords rank easy even without it and then it becomes redundant.

    LTP is still awesome!
Though I agree with the posts above that not having proxy support is a real bummer.

Yes, it's a great tool. You can use Market Samurai as an alternative, but LTP is more powerful. I like that you can search multiple keywords at once and pre-filter keywords

I've never used Long Tail Pro, but from what I understand, other Internet marketers like Long Tail Pro because it compares keywords based on SEO competitiveness. Like you, I also use the Google Keyword Planner in conjunction with several other tools to find my keywords and determine the competitiveness of the first page results in the SERPs respectively.
