Do you trust TrustPilot?

doesn't stop people from being able to make thousands of accounts and add 1 review each
lol.

How do you think the reviews are being added then without creating thousands of accounts and actually adding them one by one?

Do they still alive?) TrustPilot seriously growing in fake review detection.
Yes. The majority of reviews are still alive. They delete about 2 out of 10 of my reviews. Trustpilot is deleting them manually after the reviews have been approved within 48 hours of approval. It is totally random, not because the reviews are “being detected as fake.” It’s simply so they can say they do delete reviews. They just leave out the part that they delete reviews randomly whether fake or real.

I asked because I saw many websites one year ago with fake positive reviews. Still, this year, I was shocked when I opened around ten websites in the same niche, and their Trustpilot profiles were blocked for a suspicious review activity. The marker is like this:

Yeah, that’s bad. I’ve never seen that before.

If this is their best way of dealing with fake reviews that should tell you that trust pilot is not that great at preventing them.

I trust Trustpilot reviews for boosting sales on my websites. It does not matter whether we internet marketing people trust or do not trust Trustpilot reviews. What should matter to us is whether our website visitors who are our potential buyers > Do they trust Truspilot reviews ? My answer to that is a big "Yes".
Ever since I registered my business profiles in Trustpilot and incorporated them on my websites, and then I purchased Trustpilot reviews, my sales from (on) my websites have increased a lot. Why ? Because the buyer "crowd" trusts Trustpilot.
And the Trustpilot reviews that I purchased are of good quality and 95% stick, which is quite good. Those that drop, get replaced by the sellers, you can see for yourself at BHW Marketplace that replacement is part of what every Trustpilot review seller offers, which is good.
I think we internet marketing people need to be business minded and look at things from the buyer's side, rather than our side and focus on what will bring in sales in terms of what our potential buyers perceive and not based on what we perceive.
Therefore, in my experience, I do trust that Trustpilot reviews results in better sales happening from websites that incorporate Trustpilot reviews. Otherwise the big brands would not be incorporating Trustpilot reviews on their websites !!!

I need to check the reviews and the poster profiles first.

Only 80%, then it's time to investigate on other websites

Yeah they do this after multiple warnings.. they dont delete this instantly and they also remove blackhat niches from their site like this so it's not always just because of the fake feedbacks.

When you find some kind of service you're interested in, you probably would like to check reviews about it, right?
Is trustpilot the most popular reviews platform worldwide? Or where do you prefer to read reviews about the company/service?
Do you trust trustpilot?

Nope. Anywhere where you see services offered on here, treat with a pinch of salt.
The fact a blackhat forum offers TP reviews, says enough.

Stop derailing. This has nothing to do with the actual topic. Next reply about bullshit gets a warning and a kick in the ass.

From my end, I didn't mean to engage in all of that, though.

So who’s actually providing a good Trustpilot service here? Seems most of them get removed after a short time by most sellers I’ve used here.. would love to know if someone’s got a good method
with guarantee, would be happy to work with you!

I would say it costs a lot. Because you need to get a good proxy - support it. Keep your profile up to date. Every time check and keep any TP patterns. So it is hard work. Most services do this fast and do not pay attention to quality. So I guess better gives your users some discount or gift cards and invite them to do this.

But anyway, 70% of people don`t leave positive feedback; instead, they go to TP and find any possible way to leave a negative. That is the main point.

Check how to operate some big companies, like Stripe on TP - you will be impressed by amount of negative reviews and how they deal with it)
