What do you think?

I would say that it highly depends on the content itself, if it's a simple copy paste or automated posting, then yes.
If the content was edited, proofread and fact checked, I don't see a reason.

there was a update that said they would. as the user mentioned above if its decent content with accurate information and not just copy pasted im sure they will allow it

They already said that you shouldn't use their API to create content for your website to republish onto search.

It would be really hard to filter quality AI content, right now it's already possible to generate almost plagiarism-free AI content, that can't be detected by those ''AI detection sites''.

The worst case I see is more manual actions, on sites that look ''unnatural'' - sites that post a lot of content in short intervals, but that pass automated ''content quality'' checks...

Slow and steady, some AI content mixed with proofread, or old, human-written should fly under the radar.

Yes i saw the post to here on bhw. Google will allow ai content. Google said if it is good content why not.

The question is - how google will recognize AI content? Keep in mind that every new version of chatGPT will produce much higher quality content

Yes, and they won't tell you about it.

I don't think they will. They want to provide helpful information to their user. If your site provides useful and accurate information, I don't think they will punish your site. No one knows what will happen in the future, though. They can change their policies anytime they want.

No, is really difficult to detect AI content and they could affect real people working and thinking to get their blog with quality content, I beliece that is more related to spam AI content that you can generate even more and faster content but regular one no.

Yes, if the ai content is low quality google will remove it sooner or later. Just like google will remove any low quality content. It does not matter if it’s ai generated, or human generated.

Low quality content is what will get removed.

Google will penalize low-value content, no matter if it's an AI, spun, or paraphrased. If it doesn't look natural, it will get deindexed.

AI content will appear on the Internet in large numbers, and I think Google will punish AI content.

It is too early to give a clear answer. There can be both possibilities, it can punish also and cannot punish as well.
