The website is PaidToClick. I mean I was clicking on ads every day, and after a few months, I earned my first dollar in my PayPal account.
It was a really great experience. It took a really long time when there were no referrals. 1 Click was 0.001 or 0.01 $
Back then, it was the style that many people set up a new PaidToClick website and scammed other people, who invested money in those sites. They were mini-startups, where the first guys who got referrals to the site made money. These referrals never made money because they were then blocked from the site when they tried to get their first money out of the site.
Oh, those days..
I was clicking on a lot of different kinds of sites, and it was kind of fun. I was also looking at what other people were advertising, and at the same time, I was learning about internet stuff. I saw all kinds of stuff. There was real pyramid scam stuff, normal blogs, YouTube views, all that crap.
This was 16 years ago.
Neobux and the PTC era taught a lot of us patience the hard way. Clicking for fractions of a dollar sounds crazy now, but it was a legit entry point and a solid learning phase. Those mini-startup scams were wild back then… still, good memories and lessons from that time.

I remember those chaotic setups, chatbots, emailers, and all the random adult offers. $35 for the first sale must’ve felt amazing back then! Definitely a totally different era of online hustle.

I did something very nasty (I was a noob back then, don’t judge me please). I replaced one of their wiki links with my affiliate link and before it was reverted back, I earned something like $100.
They were kind enough to pay me the money although I didn’t meet the threshold amount and they knew what I did.
I feel stupid I did that, but hey..

That sounds painfully familiar. Those fake high rates always disappeared right when you got close to payout. Still, that phase taught a lot, and it’s cool how it led you into real services and long-term SEO work. Classic journey.Same story for me, it happen in 2008.
neobux and there were another good site, who pay on time, i think clixncash or something like that.
there were many other scam site who pay higher rate on per click. but there minimum withdrawl amount was 100$, its hard to reach there,
and even once you cross 70-80$ , they stop giving ads, so you can complete minimum thresold amount
those was the period to learn a lot,
got first payment on my paypal from such ptc sites.
then i start doing directory submission work and make lots of money by providing that service.
and i still provide seo service
