I can understand your frustration.
I really do.
SEO is an arms race and continues to evolve even if you don’t have the time, patience or money to do it.
It’s one of the things that you have to stick to otherwise you’ll be left behind.
Given this context, it’s no surprise that a lot of people have just given up on it.
In many cases, depending on the brand that they’ve managed to develop over the years they’re actually getting the same amount of results, so why bother with SEO.
For me, SEO is a core part of the dual marketing strategy because it helps me position my brand.
I think in terms of brands, because long after you have promoted your brand and it continues to attract and communicate with your following, you make money off it.
That’s how potent it is.
And one of the best ways to manage position and otherwise create an effective brand, is through SEO.
That’s why I stick with it.
Is it a hassle?
Absolutely.
If I had a choice, I wouldn’t do it.
But it’s so powerful when it comes to building online brands, that it is the way to go.
The good news is, that there are shortcuts.
I use reverse engineering amongst other shortcuts and I’m able to perform SEO much more efficiently.
