I've been doing SEO for over 15 years. I do it because it's easy! I've been my own boss for most of my adult life, I've supported my family, my staff, and made money for countless clients. It's win-win

I prefer spam. I havent really spammed in about 2 years now. But i choose spam over seo.

Paid traffic is shitty man. all of those ad platforms are strickting their polices more and more over time, ads become more expensive as well.

with good SEO you can generate tons of traffic for free, and the traffic is MUCH BETTER than everything else to be honest.

Google takes time but its more stable, think like real estate. It's slow but stable ( THE BEST )

SEO traffic than paid traffic? No, with paid you can target IN MARKET audience, you can put banner ads and youtube ads at the moment you want after people visited your site, which is impossible with SEO once they leave your site.

Free traffic with SEO? this is a big lie, you must create the content and it cost you time to create great content or pay someone to do it + backlinks takes time or money, not free.

You can AB test titles with google ads to improve CTR, impossible with SEO as it hurt your page to modify it constantly.

You can retarget with paid ads, impossible with SEO.

You can follow your visitors cross channel with paids (youtube and google for example), impossible with SEO.

I know this forum is a SEO forum at first it's why I challenge the common narrative around here.

Because I saw no proof of it in your post, except policies... and SEO has an arbitrary algo to put your article in the first page of the SERP which is worst...

Ads are more stable than SEO, you can use the data more precisely and you don't have a dance, you pay the price, you know what happens.

SEO is overrated around here.

I still do SEO, but really don't trust Google with my business.

YouTube is working quite well atm and am investigating TikTok as a possible traffic source.
