Do you sometimes feel like you would give up?

Even when you are mentally tough, I think everyone has that time when you fall down. That moment when everything is collapsing and there is no way you can repair it.

How could you deal with this situation?
 
My own experience: I spent so many years in rock bottom mentally that I even had real-estate there and eventually I managed to crawl out. Once you've been through something like that nothing else can get you as down because there is no comparison to what you been through. This means now nothing can get me down and I can push through anything ('anything') which doesn't mean I am a machine but instead disciplined and can snap out of it and just start hustling again.
The solution? Don't give up. Simple as that. But do seek professional help if you feel like you can't 'take it anymore' (that's what I did. Doesn't mean you cannot overcome this without pro help, but with it you can overcome it much faster and shape your mind as you want it to be), they really do miracles. BUT get a decent one, it costs a bit but is worth it. If you go to the cheap ones you will leave there exactly the same but now with a pill addiction.
Again, this is my opinion and experience, everyone is different.

Bro, any process have ups and downs. This thing is called "life". If you do your part, the whole "orchestra" will sounds good. If you do your part, and the "orchestra" isn't sounds too good, already, keep your good job and try to see if your goals are the right ones *(or the "orchestra" is the proper one), in accordance to your needs. If so, make a step back, analyze, and see what you have to change. Cheers!
 
If you talk about your life, try to find out why you react like that. Try going out, playing sports, listening to music, and talking about it with those around you. It's not easy, but it's possible with a bit of time. I also know that food plays a huge role in our mental health, so try to see if it could be that, and avoid eating too many processed foods, because it's really crap for our brains. Anyway, try to think about something else and figure out why you're not well, although that's harder said than done.
 
I have had such ups and downs every day for the last 2 years(or now it's almost 3 I think).

a few suggestions,
- Do not be afraid to start from blank page. Sometimes it's the best position to build strong foundations.
- Do not define your future from past experiences, you ain't no seer, you don't know what will happen tomorrow.
- Do not be afraid to ask and look for help, mental counseling is a thing and it helps a ton.
- Find what motivates you to get your gears going, even stupid motivational youtube videos could work. Search for "motivational speech" and try to find ones without cringy background music.
- Find Jordan Peterson on youtube, some of his lectures saved my marriage and my mental state.
- Understand that motivation is temporary, you will need discipline.

When I had this shit happening - I constantly reminded myself, that I no made of bitch material and I can do great things. My forum avatar isn't a random pic from internet, it's the mental state I'm constantly pushing myself in - total beast mode to crush the things life puts on my way.

You can do the same. Something is broken? Fix it. Do things collapse? Rebuild.

Yep, all the fuckin time, as you can see from my dramatic depressive posts here. This week is very good though, multiple sales already and another more serious sounding potential client reached out to me, nice.

Yeah i'm avoiding the issue but at least for me, it's all in my head really.
 
I cant count the number of times Ive been hit by a Bus. Ive got scars all over to show. But need figure out what gets me back up and drive forward.
 
Business: Yeah, happens. I find it usually pays to stick it out. Build up money to be able to wait things out.

Life: Hell yeah. It's normal. I know how to make money now so I'd feel like a caricature if I didn't at least try to carry on, that's what I tell myself.

Btw. IMO it should be normal to talk about this rather than sending everyone to a shrink. I mean, shrinks are OK but this shouldn't be a forbidden topic, we're all human..
 
It's part of it. If you don't feel like it now & then, you're doing something wrong.
 
Every other day honestly, it is much harder to work those days because you don't have the motivation, but the key is to still do the fucking work.
Go for a long walk, get some fresh air and some sun, get a cold shower and do something else that you don't like.

You will get used to doing the shit that you don't like, and it's called discipline. It is also a great way to build self respect and confidence.
 
Warning! If you have depressions, you need the help of a doctor, sport activities, healthy food and a cozy job! My mental strategies doesnt help for peoples with depressions! They need a change in the life and professional help.

What works for me:
As Entrepreneur i have a lot of dark times. I had in the past a lot of failers and bad desicions with big consequences for my life until for my first successfully company.
So sometimes I was sitting on the floor in the kitchen and cry like a little baby because no one understand the situation what you have as Entrepreneur and i was alone to solve all this problems.
And i had also a lot of fear sometimes because i doesnt know how i should pay in the end of the month my appartment, salary, food and invoices.

But in the last years i learned a lof of staff to handle this hard times of situation.

Sometimes i go in the nature were Im alone or take a shower and cry like a baybe, because after that I will become new hope in my mind and I can think about a new strategy how I will solve all the challenges

And I have check how other great enterpreneus handle this dark times.

I have develope for me this strategy and it works but maybe for the most peoples here its very extreme but it works for my mindset that i will never give up.

I was in the Army and i checked how Navy SEALS from the USA handle critical situation.
They give me 2 Inspirations.

Inspiration 1: If you have a big problem, splitt it in small problems and solve every small problem step by step as little tasks.
Inspiration 2:

In the Navy Seals they have a hell week. The soldiers can not sleep for 5 days and they have a lot of sport activities and hard mental time.
And all what they have to do is to ring the bell and they can go home and sleep and everything is the life will be confort.

So i have adapt this for my Mindset:
I have a bell at home with the words "dont ring the bell and never give up". And on the rope hangs a symbolic of a real bullet of my army rifle.

That i can write here my text is the reason, that i have never give up ;-) You understand this symbolic?

I know its dramatic but this works for me because i love the life and i will never ever ring the bell in my life no matter what is to come!!!

After every dark time, good times also come. And after every dark time you will be stronger in your mindset and you will see the last failers and hard times was good for your mindset, because next time you have learnet it from the sitation and will handle it better. Today i like failers and im hungry for new challenges and bad sitations :D

This is the resilience which i developed in the last years of many dark times with no money, food, love, luck or everything in my life which i was thinking its easyier to shot a bullet in my head.

But i will never ring the bell and never give up ;-)
