Do you smoke ?! - Watch this...

E-cigs are becoming big among my circles. Out of all the flavors I've sampled strawberry is quite pleasing to smoke and the smell it gives off is inoffensive.

I hate cigarettes. But I smoke Nargila since I was 17. I smoke once/day and only one piece (don't know what you call it in English). It still sucks and I'm trying my best to quit. Everyday I say the next day ... !

I believe the problem isn't in the smoking itself ( for me at least ). When I'm really busy, I might spend 3 months away from it as I don't have time to go to the Cafe. I never had an urge feeling for it when I'm away.

My strongest addiction is the habit of going to the Cafe. I hate closed spaces and as IM we stay all the day in front of the screen. After some time I just need to get fresh air. So, I go to the Cafe and smoke. I'm doing my best to break the habit...

If anyone read "The Power of Habit" will understand what I'm talking about. It's amazing book for any Marketer BTW.

It looks horrible. Most of people recommended me to use e cig and now I am very happy with it. The big problem is that I am smoking at every 5 mins and It's like a candy

Remember that you don't have to completely stop smoking, you can smoke casually like during social events such as party, you can take a smoke or two. You don't have to completely eliminate it from your life, just like alcohol you don't drink everyday and only at parties, you'll still be exposed to chemicals no matter how many habits you quit.

I used to smoke marijuana regularly, but I recently gave that up as well. Not so much for the health concern, mainly because of the addictive traits it has and the tendency to use it more and more regularly. Although, benefiting health wise is quite nice.

Then consider yourself one of the lucky ones. I myself was an cigarette addict. I smoked for almost 11 years and loved it. I had no issues with quitting other substances, but that damn tobacco was the last and hardest one to kick. I'm now smoke free for 10 years, but get this: Every once in a while, the tobacco still calls my name. That's why I say I was an addict. Whatever chemical combos they put in to boost the nicotine should be banned for life. And get this, I know deep down if I have one smoke, I'll be hooked again!! No other substance I've taken has had that type of grip on my life. Those companies that manufacture them should all be burned down and the CEOs and legislators that allow it should be tar and feathered. The whole concept of them being legal blows my mind...

As oxon mentioned. Use cigar instead... like a boss.

I am not saying its healthy, but hey, who wants to live 100 years ? I prefer 75 enjoyable years.

I quit smoking about 8 months ago. Greatest decision ever.

I roll up the g-plant though.

Dab some hash here and there too.

Saw my grandfather die younger than he should have because he smoked cigarettes and got cancer. Now watching my mom go through stage 3 lung cancer because she smoked. Lung cancer is no joke and wouldn't want to wish that shit on my worst enemy.

My father and brother smoke a pack per day. Father has been smoking for more than 30 years. I have tried various ways to get him to quit with no luck, I talk to him every week about how he should at least lower his numbers. I have even bough him a famous book that helped thousands about quitting. It's really sad to see his health getting worse every year but I feel helpless. I just stand there and watch.

on weekends i typically smoke maybe 3-5 cigarettes. weed however, is an every day thing.

you can really tell the poisonous'ity of a smoke, if you go cold turkey for a week, and then smoke.. the first puff is just plain disgusting.. After the first smoke tho, it keeps getting better and your body is like 'dis is sum good shit'.. Man I miss smoking so god damn much, but not because of the nicotine or the other addictive chemicals, but just the Ritual of it, the glue that holds a day together for me.

I'm missing the smoke breaks where sometimes I think what happened the past 4h, gather cherry thoughts or just got something kick-ass working, go for a smoke break, where I collect thoughts as how to progress it.

I wont ever go back to smoking tobacco but still trying to find a ritual. Tea break is what I'm on now, but still not quite the same ^^ (healthier tho)

The worst thing is that even though I know how bad it is, I still don't quit. I will have a horrible second half of my life if I don't get my sht together. I wanted to quit several times, but one stress situation and I am back at smoking. I am weak :( My dad and my uncle were smoking heavily and both got cancer from it, so I know what will happen to me and I still don't quit. I am probably the biggest retard ever.
