Never had that kind of teacher (I wish I had), I always get bored listening to the notes over and over again when you try to master one song, but you never complete. I have moved onto piano now, I feel piano is for me for some reasons.

A bit, I'm better at piano though. I learned the basic chords upside down on my friend's guitar because I didn't have a left-handed guitar, then I learned them right-side up once I got my own lefty guitar.

I remember the OP, @jr D.I.P. Back when I opened a sales thread (before I was an admin) and an associated giveaway thread, this clown entered the giveaway and tried intimidating me off the marketplace thinking I didn't know he was one of my competitors. I told him off, he got pissy, and then reported my giveaway.
Jokes on him, I found out he was a previously banned member under the names @DEEP SINGHAL, @DeepSinghal, deepkg, and @deeptheh@CKER.
Anyway, since everyone else is engaging with this thread, I've played the electric guitar for about 3 years now. I wanted to learn those rifts in EMF's song Unbelievable and Razorlight's song America.

How this thread came back alive after 6 years
2 years back when I was in my post-graduation, I did play guitar many times and people used to love my skills...
But these days I am not having those sleepy days and I am not getting those good dreams where I imagine myself in the place of Slash, Kurt Cobain ...etc...
